Personal Background

Let me tell you a little bit about myself:

I moved to Boston from the mid-west in 1983 and attended UMass Boston. In 1987 I obtained by real estate licence and worked as an agent with ERA/AAA Real Estate in Cambridge, MA.

My husband grew up in Manchester with relatives family living in Gloucester Rockport. Whenever we had a spare minute we would come to Cape Ann to escape the hustle bustle of the city. It was a perfect retreat oasis for us as it was only a 1 hour drive away. Upon our many jaunts up here, we slowly discovered the beauty and tranquility this lovely little island had to offer. Although we were only visitors at the time we quickly became entrenched and absorbed into the community. In the Fall we found ourselves exploring the quarries and woodland trails of Dogtown and in the winter we ventured on a sleigh ride into the woods of Ipswich searching for the perfect Christmas tree. Springtime offered family run road side stands farmer's markets with a bountiful choice of hearty perennials and tender vegetables... although at the time I didn't have a yard, I found container gardening was the next best thing! Lastly, mother nature boasted beautiful crystal clear beaches and soft sand such as the likes of Wingaersheek Beach and Good Harbor Beach. If we were feeling adventuresome we'd take a short 1/2 hour boat ride from The Annisquam River to Crane Beach for a Lobster roll lunch.

That is when I knew we had to move here.

In 1993 we purchased a home in the Lanesville section of Gloucester. It's a quaint little village that hugs the coast, there are a few small shops and a darling beach aptly names Plum Cove. Everyday I am thankful because I get to work where I live, which seems to be a rare event these days. I also get to do a job I love, which doesn't even feel like one.

Coming from a family of real estate agents, entrepreneurs and business owners, I grew up understanding the true meaning of serving and assisting people; the final goal is always a shared goal. My dedication is consistent, my knowledge of the market is on point and I am readily available to answer any of your questions...no waiting for a phone call back!

It would be an honor privilege to serve your Cape Ann real estate needs. Thank you in advance for considering me as your selected agent.
